Lea Lolita Sweet, 9-time BAMMY nominee, singer-songwriter and producer has created a new fusion of Rock and Soul on her CD “Daughter of Funk Rock” which is edgy and outside the box and also a new fusion of country and soul on her “Black Queen of Country Music” CD. Lea’s injection of “flava” to pop country music was recorded in Nashville, TN with some of the greatest musicians including Troy Klonz whom is Steel Guitarist for Brooks & Dunn and Roy Clark. This CD earned Best New Country Artist and Best Album from Bay Area Music Awards.
“I was honored to receive Best New Country Artist, Best Jazz, Best Neo-Soul, and Best Album and nominated for Entertainer of the year by the American Academy Association of Music and the Bay Area Music Awards. I’m going to submit and share my music with the Grammy Awards in 2020 – wish me Good Luck,” said Lea.
Lea joined several musical productions including Motown Legends, Legends of Soul and the Pop, Rock & Soul & Sweet Tina Tribute Casino Tours performing the very best tributes to Tina Turner, Tammi Terrell, The Supremes, The Vandellas, and The Marvellettes.
